I for one thouroughly enjoyed it, probably because it had all of the elements/ genres I already loved blended into one motion picture. I completely love alien planets and their ecology, flying reptiles, mech fights, detailed cinematography, and an easy-to-follow-but-satisfying storyline. That's what made the film so good to me. Plus I respect it simply as an achievement; I can't imagine how hard it would be to create so much that the film explores in terms of detail.

I think people feel all too comfortable criticizing things these days instead of appreciating the work and the craft that so many people put together as a team and presented it in movie form. I mean, could any of us really put together something that amazing? Probably not even close. So just appreciate it!

the picture is better then the Movie ... except it isn't 3 dimensional

... i don't understnad the Hype 'bout the Movie, for me the only nice thing has been the 3D feeling, the movie itself was not that catching. 1 of 9 constantly recuring hollywoodplots ^^
